It was a fun and crazy week at school.....Christmas break is so close and everyone is feeling that!
The kids got to go on a little walking field trip to the train station, where they sat in the train cars, sipped hot chocolate and enjoyed cookies.
The Christmas program was another highlight of the week. Cale and his class took on the role of hosts this year, so it was just Shayne, Isla and Bruno singing. Bruno had a little moment before the program when he got a bit too warm waiting in the classroom. (Mixed in with some stage fright.) He ran off to Mrs. Henkel and missed the first song. But after taking a minute and ditching his suit coat, he bravely went back out and finished the program strong. We were so proud of him for getting back up there! The girls sang loud and proud. They absolutely love moments like this.
On the last day of school, everyone came dressed in their pajamas and brought sleeping bags and pillows to the gym for a cozy movie day. They all had free range at the candy bar, and you can imagine what that was like. The sugar kicked in at the same time for all of the students. Thankfully, it was a half day(😂), and we are free for the next two and a half weeks!
